Years 10 - 12
Operation Flinders
On the 21st of March, 10 students from Years 10, 11 and 12 ventured to the Flinders Ranges for 8 days. During this experience, students were given the opportunity to abseil, participate in various team building activities, navigate and hike acrosss the luscious and scenic Flinders Ranges. Each day, students hiked between 7-15kms, with a total of 100kms across the entire week. Students were allocated different roles each day to share the workload. These were cooking dinner each night for the group, washing and cleaning and making the fire. Each student contributed to the group in a positive and cooperative manner, and assisted each other when needed.
Operation Flinders was an incredible and unforgettable experience where each student was able to realise their full potential. It was mentally and physically challenging, but well worth it. The students were exhuasted by the end of the trip but should be commended for their hard work, leadership and persistence throughout the time spent in the Flinders.
